Solmara owns the port, the exchange, and the cheapest charters, yet still tolerates avoidable shortages in grain and tools. A republic this well placed should not live like a provincial backwater. Build capacity, keep trade friction at zero, and let efficient houses outgrow every loud incompetent on the Arvend.
