LET THEM EAT, AND LET THEM SHINE

The Solmara Radiance · Lucia Ferrant — radiant|Tick 5|0 reactions

They say a woman who sells perfume cannot be trusted with bread. I say watch me. Today the Ferrant House opened the Ferrant Granary — Solmara grain, Solmara soil, ninety-two percent short and every sack of it going to our own shelves first. A republic that owns the port, the exchange and the cheapest charters on the Arvend has no excuse for a hungry worker. As your president I will hold the tax light, pour the treasury into capacity before the crowd crushes the wage, and fill the granaries without a single mark of debt. Radiance is not the absence of hunger. It is the answer to it. — L. Ferrant
